Short overview and structure of the online course

Thai Massage is one of the most beneficial types of massage for human health, as practically all skeletal muscles, joints, and other systems of the human body are affected during a massage session. The Thai Massage is performed while the client is in different positions: prone, supine, side-lying, or sitting. Thai Massage is performed on the floor on a special mat or a massage table. During the Thai Massage session, various positions ensure that skeletal muscles, ligaments, joints, and other structures are thoroughly influenced. Therefore, Thai Massage can be considered one of the most beneficial types of massage ever developed in the field of massage. Another name for Thai massage is Thai Yoga Massage, which indirectly specifies the benefits of this type of massage for the human body.

Prerequisites for enrolling in an online course

The Thai massage online course is open to anyone interested in learning about Thai massage. There are no prerequisites for participation, as Thai massage is a different type of massage than conventional Western massage (classical, sports, segmental, lymphatic, etc.).

Completion of the online course

In order to participate in the Thai Massage online course, you need to register an account on the website, which will later be linked to the Thai Massage online course. More information will be provided after registration for the online course.

Thai Massage online course is based on recorded video lectures. If you have any questions during the course, you can email them to the course organiser. If the questions do not require a long answer, they will be answered by email. In the case of a longer answer, we prefer three options: 1) by telephone; 2) via Zoom; 3) creating an additional video clip to the online course. In the case of the first two options an exact date and time mutually convenient to both sides shall be agreed. If possible, we prefer to create an additional video clip to accompany the online course when answering questions.

Documents delivered after the online course

Upon completion of the Thai Massage online course, a certificate or a notice will be issued. A certificate will be issued on completion of all learning objectives. In order to achieve the learning outcomes, various written assignments have to be completed, and multiple-choice tests have to be passed. The online course organiser will provide written feedback on the written assignments. Written assignments will be reviewed and fed back within 24 to 72 (usually 24) hours; progress to the next module is then allowed.
