Prerequisites for starting studies
The Thai massage online course is open to anyone interested in learning about Thai massage. There are no prerequisites for participation, as Thai massage is a different type of massage than conventional Western massage (classical, sports, segmental, lymphatic, etc.).
Volume, duration, and structure of the online course
The Thai Massage online course volume is 30 academic hours, of which 30 academic hours are independent learning (including e-learning). One academic hour is equal to 45 minutes.
The Thai Massage online course can be accessed for two years after enrolment. It is based on recorded video lectures and can be completed at a time and pace that suits you.

Learning outcomes of the curriculum and documents to be issued after the online course
Thai massage online course assesses the achievement of learning outcomes. To achieve the learning objectives, participants have to pass multiple-choice tests successfully, various written tasks (answering short questions, etc.), the final test, and the written examination. A certificate will be awarded upon achievement of the learning outcomes. If not all learning objectives are achieved, a notice will be issued. The notice is issued on condition that at least 70% of the online course has been completed.
A notice and a certificate can be sent free of charge within Estonia; sending abroad is subject to agreement. We can also issue an electronic certificate on request.

Topics of the Thai massage online course
The Thai Massage online course first answers whether Thai Massage is, in substance, a Western or an Eastern form of massage.

- structure of the Thai massage session;
- skeletal muscles and other systems of the human body to be affected;
- basic movements of the human body;
- general system of massage techniques used in Thai massage;
- the logic of derivation of stretching movements;
- Thai massage massage techniques in the prone position;
- Thai massage massage techniques in the supine position;
- Thai massage massage techniques in lateral position;
- Thai massage techniques in a sitting position;
- Thai massage massage techniques on a massage table;
- analysis of massage techniques;
- etc.
In addition to the Thai Massage online course, what other online courses could I participate in?
In Thai massage, the focus is on affectioning the skeletal muscles through both massage and stretching techniques. For a structured learning experience, it is recommended that you complete the Thai massage online course first, followed by the Functional Anatomy online course. This sequence allows you to build a solid foundation in Thai massage techniques and deepen your understanding of the skeletal muscles, essential for implementing the stretching techniques in Thai massage.
