We offer a unique online course, “Massage and Posture,” which has a very high practical value! Why? If you know which skeletal muscles become weak and which become tense with changes in posture, you can use this knowledge to give a more structured and targeted massage. For example, if a person has a pelvic drop on one side, the online course will provide an overview of how to identify this by assessing the posture and which skeletal muscles to relax and which to strengthen. This online course has great practical value as the knowledge gained can be directly applied in practice.
Requirements for starting a course
There are prerequisites for participation in the online course on massage and posture. You must have previously completed at least the Functional Anatomy online course or a similar course. The underlying reason is that the abovementioned (online) course provides knowledge of the skeletal muscle system; it is essential for a more systematic understanding of posture changes. Also, at least one (online) course on massage must have been completed previously – one of the best choices would be Classical Massage, as this (online) course provides the basics of massage. Knowledge and skills of at least one type of massage will help to better understand posture assessment in the context of massage.
